Virtual Cath Lab and Gruentzig Cath Lab


The virtual cath lab is a highly sophisticated space, which offers a revolutionary approach to the training of current implant techniques. The cath lab is fully equipped with x-ray equipment, surgical instruments, operating tables and mannequins.

Virtual Cath Lab


The innovative computer simulation reproduces the mechanical and electrical functions of the heart, while providing a tactical feel to the positioning and placement of catheters and electrodes. The numerical reconstruction of the cardiac anatomy enables x-ray images to be viewed. These simulations enable the physicians to follow the movement and placement of electrodes in real time.

The simulation is based on real clinical cases, numerically programmed in the virtual cath lab computer. The physicians are therefore able to train on cases that are similar to those seen in their own practice. Different cardiac pathologies, anatomies and product characteristics can also be programmed.
